According to Evan Daniels of Scout.com, Utah has picked up a basketball commitment from Josh Conley of the 2016 recruiting class. Conley is a 6’7” wing from California who now preps at LaGrange (Georgia) Sound Doctrine Academy.

At the moment, Conley does not have a profile at 247 Sports. Scout.com analyst Josh Gershon, though, has previously scouted Conley and said he’s a major sleeper because of the physical tools he possesses.
“Josh Conley is a long, athletic forward who has always had a lot of upside,” Gershon said (per Daniel’s report). “Watching him on Inglewood his last two years of high school, it was clear he had the size, length, athleticism and feel to be a successful player at next level.”
Conley is Utah head coach Larry Krystkowiak’s forth commitment of the 2016 class. Just last week Krystkowiak landed three-star shooting guard Devon Daniels. Krystkowiak’s class also includes four-star recruit Jayce Johnson and junior college prospect JoJo Zamora.
