University of Houston QB John O’Korn Is Transferring To Michigan

University of Michigan and new coach Jim Harbaugh received good news today when University of Houston quarterback John O’Korn announced via Twitter that he will be transferring to Ann Arbor to play for the Wolverines.

O’Korn announced his intention to transfer last month. The other schools he was rumored to be considering were Wisconsin and Syracuse.

John O’Korn started eleven games as a freshman at Houston, throwing for 28 touchdowns and only 10 interceptions. He got off to a rough start his sophomore season, however, throwing only 6 touchdowns to 8 interceptions in the first five games of the season before being benched.

O’Korn will have to sit out all of next season due to NCAA transfer rules but could likely start for the Wolverines in 2016.
