With championship week in full force and Selection Sunday just a few days away, the 2015 college basketball season is ready to soon take over the national sports conversation. First, though, we have to look back at how we got here.
The regular season is in the books, featuring a 31-0 Kentucky team and a talented cast of big men who will dominate some of the individual awards, headlined by Duke freshman Jahlil Okafor and Wisconsin senior Frank Kaminsky. But, what about the opposite end of the spectrum? Who was the team that left you wanting more? What coach is the most likely to find himself in the unemployment line?
Well, luckily the staff here at Today’s U put our heads together and often disagreed on certain awards. But, because this is America and we vote to win elections, it came down to that.
So, as the NCAA tournament nears, these are the top individuals of the 2014-15 season.
