Texas OL Terrell Cuney Arrested for Shoplifting

Texas redshirt freshman offensive lineman Terrell Cuney was arrested for shoplifting on Wednesday morning, according to a report by 247Sports’ Chris Hummer.

Cuney, who was a three-star prospect and the No. 7 center for the recruiting class of 2014, is currently listed as a third-string reserve behind senior Taylor Doyle (starter) and sophomore Jake Raulerson, per OurLads.com.

Texas coach Charlie Strong has made it clear that he has strict standards when it comes to his players, listing 11 rules and expectations that are rooted in responsibility, accountability, and camaraderie. As you can imagine, no stealing makes the cut.

Depending on the severity of the act (we don’t know if he stole bubble gum or an X-Box One), with Strong’s track record, I would be surprised if Cuney remains on the roster for much longer.
