Texas Kicker Makes Back-Flip Field Goal

It’s the offseason, where the fine line for what can be determined newsworthy is completely re-defined for a few months. In other words, if something cool happens, it deserves to be shared with anyone who might care.

You should probably care about this.

Texas Longhorns kicker Nick Rose has been spending a little extra time working on his game perfecting a viral trick shot field goal video, and it looks like it’s paid off.

Rose connected on 14-of-21 (66.7 percent) field goals for Texas during his junior season in 2014, which ranked second-to-last in the Big 12 Conference behind Kansas kicker Matthew Wyman (60.0).

While those numbers aren’t the greatest, it’s impressive to see a kicker with this kind of athleticism.
