Howard (5-foot-8, 180 lbs.) missed the regular season opener against Bowling Green due to a one-game suspension as a result of a team rules violation. He has also missed the last two games (Florida and Arkansas) because of a concussion.
“You try to impact every person that comes in your program,” Jones told The Tennessean. “It’s all about choices and decisions. It’s unfortunate, but we have to continue to move forward.”
Howard finishes the 2015 season with just one reception for 8 yards, but was the team’s leading receiver in 2014 when he totaled 54 catches, 618 yards and a touchdown.
