Someone Made a Hype Video for Ohio State’s QB Battle

Probably the most interesting position battle in college football history is taking a short break, but will be back with a vengeance during fall camp in a few months. Even though it’d be almost impossible to forget (there’s seemingly a new story on the subject every other week), someone by the name of “iReviewFootball” wanted to make sure we fully understood the magnitude of the situation.

He created an Ohio State quarterback hype video, featuring clips of all three Heisman-worthy competitors.

“While #QBgeddon is old news, and YouTube user “iReviewFootball” posted this video a month ago… I’m just now seeing it,” wrote D.J. Byrnes of Eleven Warriors, who discovered the video earlier today. “This has to be the first ever hype video about a depth chart battle, right?

“Besides, it’s a Tuesday in the middle of May. Do you really need an excuse to watch five minutes of Ohio State quarterbacks destroying their enemies’ hopes and dreams? I didn’t think so.”

The video opens with some of Braxton Miller’s best highlights as one of the most explosive playmakers in the nation before cutting to his tragic injury status. It then heads over to J.T. Barrett’s road to success and his unfortunate end to the season against Michigan, and of course, finishes with Cardale Jones’ unlikely journey as a College Football Playoff champion.

A remix of Sam Smith’s “Stay With Me” is playing in the background, hinting at the rumors of a possible transfer by one of the three. Clever, iReviewFootball. Very clever.
