Virginia Cavaliers transfer quarterback Greyson Lambert is scheduled to take a visit to Georgia on Saturday and Sunday, and then travel to Florida to check out The Swamp on Monday, reports Ryan Bartow of 247Sports.

Last Friday, Bulldogs head coach Mark Richt followed Lambert on Twitter, and since he only follows 296 people, it sparked the assumption (well, mine, at least) that there could be some potential interest as a final landing spot for the redshirt junior, who will have immediate eligibility this fall.
That became apparent this morning when Georgia was granted permission to recruit him. And it wouldn’t be much of a stretch to say that the ‘Dawgs are the favorite to land Lambert over Florida, considering his hometown of Jesup (GA) is a short four-hour drive from Athens.
It also tells a story of the state of the current quarterback situation, which wasn’t decided after neither Brice Ramsey, Faton Bauta, nor Jacob Park came out of spring practice as the clear No. 1.
If Mark Richt is seriously considering Greyson Lambert, it just proves that Richt has little confidence in the current QBs on UGA's roster.

The more I hear about UGA looking around for QBs, the more I believe in Tennessee

UVa QB transfer Greyson Lambert reportedly to visit Georgia and Florida. If the QBs on those campuses can be beaten out by Lambert …
