Ranking Kentucky’s NBA Draft Prospects

NCAA BASKETBALL: MAR 21 Div I Men's Championship - Third Round - Kentucky V Cincinnati

Let’s do the stereotypical hot take that people who hate Kentucky/John Calipari or don’t watch college basketball do. KENTUCKY JUST WANTS ONE-AND-DONES AND ONLY CARE ABOUT MAKING THE NBA!!!

To quote Billy Madison, ‘cue fart sound.’

I digress though. This is an incredibly deep Kentucky team, though, with plenty of NBA talent on the roster. While there’s only four freshmen on the team, people will still kill the program for recruiting better than anyone else in the country.

With that said, who is truly the best prospect on this roster? Junior Willie Cauley-Stein was just named AP First Team All-American, but Karl-Anthony Towns is currently being thrown around as the No. 1 overall pick.

So, with the NBA Draft rapidly approaching, we’ll take a look at the nine NBA Draft prospects on Kentucky’s roster. This doesn’t include Alex Poythress who is out for the season with a torn ACL, and this also doesn’t mean I’m projecting all these guys to declare for the draft.
