Upsets are what make collegiate sports great. It’s the element of surprise, unpredictability, and hope that has devoted fans like you and me on the edge of our seats every game day.
It’s the fact that on any given Saturday—or Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (OK, you get my point)—no matter where your team is ranked in the AP poll, there’s a chance that you will be drinking away your depression later that night.
If you paid attention to the 2014 college football season, you know that upsets were a big part of the final four-team playoff picture. And while I’m sure there will be several more to choose from, I’ve went ahead and prepared a list of three potential upsets that could easily change the overall landscape of the postseason.
