Spring practice has run its course, and now we’re looking the infamous “dead period” of college football straight in its eye. From here until the latter parts of July, the only thing we can talk about are the “what-ifs” of this upcoming season, with of course the dreaded (and inevitable) list of transfers and run-ins with the law.
You know what that means? Yeah, you do: more preseason rankings. They’re coming in hot, and I’ve already participated quite a bit—judge me as you will.
Earlier this week, I started with the AAC East and West rankings. Now I’m switching my attention over to the ACC, which features a shift in power with the loss of Jameis Winston (and other big-time Seminoles) to the NFL. From here, I’ll be going through each conference and determining the early favorite for the 2015 season, using my post-spring Top 25 rankings as a guide.
