The Pitt Panthers had themselves a good afternoon on the recruiting trail, and that’s putting it lightly.
According to Steve Wiltfong of 247Sports, Pitt and head coach Pat Narduzzi landed two commitments this afternoon, both happening with minutes of each other.
The first commitment, well, it was a monumental one for the Panthers.

George Hill, 4-star athlete from Hubbard, Ohio (Hubbard High School), is ranked as the No. 7 2016 athlete in the nation, according to 247Sports, so he’s without a doubt a big commitment for Narduzzi and his staff.
Per Wiltfong, the Panthers can see Hill at either running back or wide receiver, and he was recruited by the head coach himself, which says something about his importance to the staff. The Panthers also landed Hill over the likes of Michigan State, Nebraska and Wisconsin, so his commitment is definitely a big win.
The other recruit who decided to commit to Pitt was Henry Miller, 3-star athlete from Kissimmee, Fla. (Gateway High School)
“I am proud to announce that I will be furthering my education and football career at the University of Pittsburgh,” Miller wrote on Twitter.
