Ole Miss Head Coach Hugh Freeze Does The Whip, And It’s Amazing

Todd Kirkland/Icon Sportswire

If you’ve got your finger even remotely on the pulse of pop-culture in 2015 than you’ve at the very least heard of “The Whip”.

No, we’re not talking about whipping it good and no, we’re not even talking about cool hhhwhip.

The whip in question right now is usually accompanied by what’s known as the nene. Yes, it’s confusing if you aren’t under 18 (believe me), but at the very least we can confirm that the whip and nene are two very popular dance moves right now. And they make people go crazy.

One of those aforementioned people is apparently Ole Miss football head coach Hugh Freeze, who was caught doing the whip on the sideline of today’s game against Ole Miss with one of his players.

You can watch this majestic moment courtesy of SB Nation. Thankfully, since it’s in GIF form you can watch it forever, or at least until your eyes start bleeding:

At this point we’re unsure which part of Freeze doing the whip with defensive back Tony Bridges is best. Could it be the fact that his players quite obviously at one point taught him about the whip? Or is it the realization that he likely practiced it once or twice? That’s not too bad.

Upon further review , though, the best part of this GIF is relieving the joy and excitement in #27’s face and mannerisms over and over again as he watches his head coach whip.

Oh, college football. You never disappoint.
