Notre Dame got bad news Wednesday after a strong start to the season when forward Zach Auguste was suspended for academic reasons. According to ESPN’s Jeff Goodman, the indefinite suspension was lifted Saturday:

The 6’10” star is averaging over 16 points per game and should be inserted back into the lineup immediately against Miami today, according to ESPN’s Andy Katz:
Notre Dame coach Mike Brey said in a text message Zach Auguste had to make up academic work. He has. He will play against Miami.

The Fighting Irish got by Georgia Tech in Atlanta on Wednesday during Auguste’s absence to reach 16-2 on the year.
