The NCAA denied waiver hardships for Kentucky linebacker Courtney Love and tight end Greg Hart on Monday and deemed them ineligible for the 2015 season. Both Love and Hart, who transferred from Nebraska in December, were looking to get waiver hardships and be eligible to play right away.

However, according to various reports, they will have to sit out a year before they become eligible. Kentucky football coach Mark Stoops said both players will have an appeal process, as Jennifer Smith of the Lexington Herald Leader reports.
As of “right now it was denied,” Stoops said after UK’s practice. “So we have one more appeal going with Courtney, but I feel like Greg’s will be denied,”
Love, a 6’2″, 245-pound linebacker from Youngstown, Ohio, is coming off a season in which he made six tackles in 12 games with Nebraska last season as a redshirt freshman.
Hart, a 6’5”, 240-pound tight end from Dayton, Ohio, played mostly on special teams for the Cornhuskers last season.
