Cincinnati’s Mick Cronin has been cleared by doctors to resume his heading coaching career, according to the school’s athletics website.
Cronin missed the majority of this season with Arterial Dissection for precautionary reasons. He has been cleared to resume all activities with no restrictions.
The head coach led the Bearcats for the first nine games until mid-December when the arterial dissection was discovered during a routine check up. He continued to lead the program, and Cincinnati reached the Round of 32 in the NCAA Tournament.
Cronin will enter his 10th season with the Bearcats next year and returns 11 of 12 lettermen and all five starters.
