Miami QB Brad Kaaya Exits Game With Head Injury

Logan Stanford/Icon Sportswire

Miami sophomore quarterback Brad Kaaya suffered an apparent head injury during the second quarter of the Hurricanes’ ACC contest against No. 6 Clemson and is being evaluated in the locker room for a concussion. His return is unknown.

Kaaya was 6-of-10 for 51 yards and an interception before exiting the game. Redshirt freshman Malik Rosier, a former three-star prospect from Mobile (AL), has replaced him and will likely play the remainder of the game.

Clemson currently has a 28-0 lead over the Hurricanes with less than three minutes remaining in the first half, so it would be safe to assume head coach Al Golden would prefer not to risk putting Kaaya’s health in jeopardy.
