Miami Lands Early 2018 Pledge from WR Daquris Wiggins

Al Golden and the Hurricanes locked up a nice, early pledge on Wednesday when class of 2018 wide receiver Daquris Wiggins decided to stay home and play for Miami.

Corey Bender of Scout.com was the first to report the news on Twitter.

Wiggins, a 6’2” 180-pound receiver from Miami, Florida (Killian High School), is a hometown product that is considered a sleeper at this point, but he has plenty of room to grow. He is the sixth member of Golden’s burgeoning 2018 recruiting class, as Wiggins will join five-star cornerback Al Blades Jr, four-star defensive end Billy Joseph, four-star athlete Jalen Patterson, and cornerbacks Thomas Burns and Josh Jobe.
