Alabama enters as a 1-1 favorite to win the title, which should come to little surprise after it won its last 10 games by an average of 21.7 points, including a dominating defensive performance in the victory over Florida in the SEC Championship Game.
Oklahoma, the last team in, has the second-best odds at 9-4; the Sooners are also on fire as of late, lighting up the scoreboard with 50.6 points during their seven-game winning streak. Clemson, the nation’s No. 1 team for several weeks now, possesses the third-best odds at 11-2, and Big Ten champion Michigan State owns the worst odds of the bunch at 7-1, entering its semifinal matchup against the Crimson Tide as a 9.5-point underdog.
Clemson and Oklahoma are set to kick off in the Capital One Orange Bowl at 4 p.m. ET on New Year’s Eve, and Alabama will take on Michigan State in the Goodyear Cotton Bowl later on at 8 p.m. ET.
