Jim Harbaugh: If Worms Had Machine Guns, Birds Would Be Scared

When it comes to making a point, Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh likes to use his own method. Evidently, that method involves making references that A.) make a whole-helluva-lot-of-sense, and B.) sound borderline ludicrous.

He does both very well, and the first-year Wolverines coach has already dropped Lion King and Rocky references during press conferences. With five games remaining, it’s anyone’s guess as to what he’ll say next during one of his not-so-always-ordinary Monday pressers at the Crisler Center in Ann Arbor.

Harbaugh was asked about “what-if?” scenarios, to which he appropriately attached to worms using machine guns to defend themselves against birds.

The bar in Ann Arbor was set when Harbaugh quoted the wisdom of Rafiki.

On Monday, that bar was raised a few notches.
