Florida running back Mark Thompson has been suspended from the team and will not play Saturday against Georgia in Jacksonville, the school announced Friday morning. The reason for the suspenson offered by the school is vague, attributing it only to “some choices and decisions he’s made.”

There is no solid confirmation of what exactly those choices and decisions are. SB Nation’s Alligator Army found a record of a Mark Thompson with similar biographical details to the Florida running back in the Alachua County Clerk of Courts records for failing to produce registration during a traffic stop in July. That record also indicates that Thompson indeer produced that registration after the fact. Regardless, that incident doesn’t seem significant enough to warrant a suspension.

Alligator Army also notes that a one game suspension–if that is in fact all this suspension is–would line up with a penalty for a second violation of the school’s drug abuse policy, which states that a player will be suspended for 10 percent–or one game for football players–of a team’s games for a second infraction. The school, however, has not yet revealed the exact cause for the suspension beyond the vague “choices and decisions” line.

As a redshirt junior, Thompson is third on the team in both rushing (262 yards) and yards per carry (4.6 yards per carry) behind freshman Lamical Perine and sophomore Jordan Scarlett. The three have been splitting running duties for the Gators throughout the season and have combined for nearly 1000 yards already for the No. 14 Florida Gators.
