The Florida Gators have added depth at the quarterback position with the signing of Vanderbilt transfer Josh Grady.
Grady was used at both quarterback and receiver at Vandy, although he saw limited time at each position last season. At quarterback, he was 3-of-7 for 27 yards and two interceptions. He caught seven passes for 89 yards as a receiver, and ran 11 times for 20 yards.
The Gators were hurting at the quarterback position, at least in terms of depth, following the transfer for Skyler Mornhinweg. The Gators were left with just two scholarship quarterbacks.
Grady graduated from Vanderbilt and will be eligible to play right away.
