Football players from Eastern Kentucky University and Kentucky were involved in a bar fight over the weekend, according to the The Courier-Journal. Witnesses told the newspaper that Colton Scurry, a sophomore lineman for EKU, instigated the fight with Kentucky wide receiver Dorian Baker, quarterback Drew Barker and defensive end Tymere Dubose.
According to Richmond, Kentucky police, Scurry sustained multiple facial fractures and lacerations that required stitches and staples after repeated blows to the head and was taken to nearby Baptist Health hospital. Neither school has commented on the incident as an investigation is still ongoing.
