The setback occurred during Clemson’s practices leading up to the bowl game. Blanks was a freshman All-American in 2012 and started most of the 2013 season for the Tigers. He tore his ACL last spring and redshirted this fall. The hope is that holding him out of practice this spring will allow him to be ready for the 2015 season.
