According to David Johnson of 247 Sports, Drew Richmond has decommitted from Ole Miss. The number 3 rated offensive tackle in the country had committed to the Rebels in September and was considered by most recruiting sources to be Ole Miss’s top offensive line prospect.
Drew Richmond has been visiting the University of Tennessee frequently and is expected to sign with the Volunteers tomorrow morning on National Signing Day. Richmond was in Knoxville for his official visit this past weekend where he visited with the coaching staff and fellow recruits.

At 6’5” and 310 pounds, Richmond’s biggest strength is his run-blocking ability but he’s also very good in pass protection. He’s only going to get bigger as his frame has some room to grow (or, more specifically, expand).
This is a tough loss for Ole Miss. With only a day left before National Signing Day, the Rebels are now forced to search for another offensive tackle.
