With Ohio State’s win in the National Championship Game on Monday, Cardale Jones became the first quarterback ever to win the national championship with just three starts under his belt.
Now Jones is at least considering heading to the NFL Draft, per Ari Wasserman of Northeast Media Group:
“It’s definitely a “who knows” right now. It’s up in the air sort of because my No. 1 priority is to graduate from the Ohio State University and walking away with something that nobody can take away from me.”
The backfield in Columbus could be crowded if Jones returns, with quarterbacks Braxton Miller and J.T. Barrett both still eligible.
Today’s U will have updates on underclassman declaring for the draft as those announcements are made in the coming weeks.
