Stefan Moody hit a cold-blooded three with 2.7 seconds remaining to give Ole Miss a 62-61 win over Florida on Thursday night, but Dalton Starkey’s Fan Tweet of the Night had us looking for a Bo Wallace appearance on the hardcourt:
Ole Miss has four turnovers in the first half. I must have missed whenever Bo Wallace started hooping. #MISSvsUF

Bo Wallace playing college basketball would be one of the better spectacles of our time. He no doubt could air it out from behind the arc in addition to providing a laughable assist-to-turnover ratio. My favorite part about Dalton’s tweet, though, is that four turnovers in a half is actually really good. Still, no legitimate opportunity was needed for him to throw in the dig at Wallace. He just attacked even when it wasn’t justified. Bold.
Thank you, Dalton, for bringing us all back to the fall of Hugh Freeze, long-ball ineptitude, and a New Year’s Eve beat down. If tonight is any indication, though, maybe Stefan Moody can turn a bitter winter for the Rebels into a glorious spring in Oxford come March.
