Big Ten’s Way-too-Early Heisman Candidates

The college football season is still more than three months away from kickoff but rarely does that mean we can’t come up with early season predictions and performances.

Much like running backs stole the spotlight in 2014, many are expecting quarterbacks are expected to be the headlining position in the 2015 season for the Big Ten. There’s some solid reasoning behind that.

Regardless of what position dominates a conference that has been dependent on the run game for most of its history, there’s plenty of depth and talent at a number of different spots. The most notorious are often placed among the top of the charts as the conference’s most likely to become the next Heisman Trophy winner.

Here’s a way-too-early look at some of the potential Heisman candidates heading into the 2015 campaign.
