Arkansas Razorbacks Areas for Improvement

NCAA FOOTBALL: NOV 22 Ole Miss at Arkansas

To say Bret Bielema’s first year at Arkansas was a major flop would be an understatement. But after suffering through a 3-9 season in 2013, the switch went on in 2014, as the Razorbacks finished with a 7-6 record.

Thanks in large part to a top-10 defense, Arkansas ended up being one of the pleasant surprises in college football. The team topped off the season by defeating Texas by a lopsided score of 31-7 in the Texas Bowl.

Heading into the 2015 season, the Razorbacks still have plenty of areas to sure up. One of the big questions will be how Bielema can replace the production of three key defenders who will be moving on to the NFL next month.

On the other side of the ball, the Razorbacks need to become more explosive and improve on their 44th-ranked scoring offense. Let’s take a look at Arkansas’ top areas for improvement.
