It does not matter how far the Miami Hurricanes travel for their road games; this particular fan(s) won’t let distance be a factor in getting across emotional attachment for wanting coach Al Golden to be fired.
A plane was recently seen flying over Cincinnati’s Nippert Stadium in wake of the Thursday night showdown with the Bearcats, reading, “I flew 1,124 miles just to say fire Al Golden.”

If this is the same person that has been flying the #FireAlGolden banners down in Coral Gables, then that is downright impressive.
Miami (3-0, 0-0 ACC) has enjoyed a strong start to its 2015 season, coming off a 36-33 win over Nebraska in Week 3. Golden, however, was 28-22 in his first four years coming into the new campaign, and the consensus thought heading in was that the Canes had to win the Coastal Division for him to retain his position in 2016.
Cincinnati (2-2, 0-2 AAC) was the American Athletic Conference preseason favorite, but has suffered losses to Temple and Memphis. Still, the Bearcats’ offense that ranks third in the nation in total yards (622.5 per game) could pose an issue to Miami’s defense.
Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. ET. You can view the game on ESPN.
