Anderson, a 6’4”, 285-pound offensive guard from Frisco, Texas, is rated as a five-star recruit and the best offensive guard in the 2017 class by 247 Sports. The site ranks Anderson as the No. 29 overall player in that class.
He chose the Red Raiders over strong interest from Texas A&M, as well as holding offers from Arkansas, Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Florida, Georgia, Miami, Oklahoma, Ole Miss and SMU.
This was the third commitment of the 2017 class for Kingsbury and the Red Raiders, as Anderson will join three-star recruits Tyler Castaneda and Xavier Martin.
