5-Star Guard Dorsey Commits to Oregon

In a totally unexpected move, 5-star guard Tyler Dorsey has committed to the Oregon Ducks, according to CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein:

All signs pointed to Dorsey committing to either Cal or Kansas. He originally had committed to play for Arizona in January of 2014 before rescinding his commitment five months later. Dorsey joins point guard Kendall Small and power forward Trevor Manuel in an extremely talented 2015 recruiting class for the Ducks. Both Small and Manuel are 4-star, top 100 prospects.

Dorsey is an extremely skilled shooting guard who possesses elite athleticism and speed. He’s an absolute freak in the open court and he’s one of the best scorers in the class of 2015. In a recent four-game stretch he scored 43, 40, 49, and 40 points respectively. He’s averaging 34 points per game this season. Tyler Dorsey is a surefire NBA prospect. Ducks fans should be overly excited.
