“I weighed out the pros and cons, and UNLV came out to be the best place for me,” Fisher told ESPN. “I really liked the atmosphere.”
Fisher, a 6’2”, 170-pound guard from Arlington, Tennessee (Bolton HS), is rated as a four-star recruit in the 2016 class according to 247 Sports. The sites ranks Fisher as the No. 59 prospect and the 11th best point guard in the country.
He chose the Rebels over interest from in-state schools Memphis and Tennessee, while also holding offers from Arkansas, N.C. State, Iowa State, Baylor and Indiana. This is the fourth commitment in the 2016 class for Dave Rice and the Rebels, as Fisher will join four-star small forward Justin Jackson along with three-star recruits Christian Vital and Carlos Johnson.
With the addition of Fisher, 247 Sports now ranks the Rebels with having the seventh-best 2016 recruiting class.
