Per Perroni, Blacklock, a 6’3,” 326-pound U.S. Army All-American, likes LSU, Houston, Texas A&M, TCU and Oklahoma State.
According to 247Sports’ predictions, Texas A&M has an 86-percent chance of landing the prep star out of Elkins High in Missouri City, Texas.
Blacklock is the No. 27-ranked DT of the 2016 class, No. 39-ranked prospect out of Texas and No. 262 overall.
Blacklock has received 15 offers to date and reportedly has “warmer” interest in LSU, as well as Texas A&M.
According to 247Sports, Blacklock unofficially visited LSU on Sept. 19–nearly a month after attending a Tigers camp. On July 22, he unofficially visited Texas A&M, which has 16 players committed to its 2016 class.
So far, that haul lands at No. 7 in the SEC and No. 17 in the nation. The addition of Blacklock would likely prompt a slight bump in the polls for the Aggies, who are led by four 4-star commits: SDE Justin Madubuike, WR Quartney Davis, CB Travon Fuller and WDE Mark Jackson, Jr.
