Kevin Wilson and Indiana picked up a solid commitment Monday when three-star JUCO quarterback Richard Lagow made a verbal pledge to play for the Hoosiers.
Alex McCarthy of 247 Sports reported the news. Lagow has been a well-traveled man, as he has spent time at three schools now, as he has spent time at Connecticut, Oklahoma State and most recently Cisco College in Texas.

After visiting Indiana for its game against Michigan, Lagow came away impressed with the play of the Hoosiers.
“The talent level on the team is amazing,” Lagow said after his official visit (per McCarthy and 247 Sports), “young guys making plays all over the place. It’s cool to see…it’s an awesome college town.”
Lagow, a 6’6”, 240-pound pro-style quarterback from Plano, Texas, is viewed as a three-star recruit according to 247 Sports. The site ranks him as the No. 105 prospect among junior college players and the fourth-best pro-style quarterback. 247 Sports also ranks Lagow as the sixth-best junior college player in the state of Texas.
He chose the Hoosiers over offers from UNLV, Memphis and Colorado State. Lagow also had interest from California, Georgia State and Arizona State.
With the commitment of Lagow, Wilson and the Hoosiers now have 10 commitments in the class of 2016. 247 Sports ranks Indiana’s 2016 class as the 86th best class in the country.
