There’s a good chance that redshirt senior quarterback Daxx Garman is interested in transferring out of Oklahoma State to finish his collegiate career elsewhere, reports Tom Fornelli of CBS Sports.
According to the rumor – which circulated following an Oklahoma State journalism student’s tweet – Garman called into the coaching office last Friday morning and quit the football team.
If this comes is true – and all signs are indicating that it will be, especially since Oklahoma State has stated that all rumors will be addressed at a spring practice news conference on March 9 – then there are going to be several programs knocking on Garman’s door.
Garman, who will earn his degree this May, will be able to leave and have immediate eligibility for this upcoming season due to NCAA graduate transfer rules. Though he struggled to complete 54.9 percent of his passes for 12 touchdowns and 12 interceptions before sustaining a season-ending concussion against Texas in Week 12, he was a three-star prospect out of high school and his veteran status could prove to be a hot commodity as a potential free agent.
Assuming Garman decides to leave Stillwater for one more chance to start, here are three schools where he could end up landing this fall.
