Wisconsin was scheduled to take a cross-country road trip to Provo to play BYU at LaVell Edwards Stadium in 2019. Now, instead of having to wait four more years to see whether a Badger or Cougar prevails, we’ll only have to wait two.

BYU, which seems to be trying to make a lateral move to strengthen its schedule and vie for an invite to a Power Five conference—and, in the meantime, compete for a New Year’s Six bowl bid—will also play Boise State, LSU, Mississippi State, East Carolina, Utah State, and other respectable programs in 2017.
With the move, Wisconsin’s 2017 schedule is now complete; the Badgers will see a non-conference slate that features BYU, Utah State, and Florida Atlantic.
This surprises me. I really thought Wisconsin would buy this game out. https://t.co/ir4ffFFZIl

With this being a home-and-home series, Wisconsin will host BYU in Madison on September 15, 2018.
