2016 3-Star WR Drew Hmielewski Commits to Minnesota

Coach Jerry Kill and the Minnesota Golden Gophers picked a quality pledge on Tuesday, as 2016 three-star wide receiver recruit Drew Hmielewski committed to the Golden Gopher football program. Hmielewski made the announcement on his Twitter page.

Hmielewski, a 6’3” 190-pound receiver from Marshall, Minnesota, is viewed as a three-star recruit according to 247sports and is ranked as the No.1,502 prospect in the 2016 class and the 216th best receiver.

Hmielewski, who also plays safety, is the 15th member of the 2016 recruiting class to commit to Kill and the Golden Gophers. Eight of the 16 members of the 2016 class are from the state of Minnesota.
