15 Candidates Announced For 1st Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Award

Duke’s Jahlil Okafor headlines the list of 15 candidates announced for the first-ever Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Award, which will recognize this year’s top center. The watch list released by the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame also includes Kentucky’s Willie Cauley-Stein and Wisconsin’s Frank Kaminsky.

The list will be narrowed to five players in early March and a winner will be named on April 10th. Stay tuned to Today’s U for updates on the final list when it is announced.
