Tulane is preparing to enter a new era under of the guidance of coach Willie Fritz and the new coach wants to turn over a new leaf. In the last few months, the Green Wave have unveiled a new set of snazzy uniforms as well.
After years of mediocrity, Tulane wants to re-brand its image while appealing to a new audience and target demographic.
For a refresher, here is a Twitter video Fritz posted in May. The Green Wave will sport a multitude of looks when they open their 2016 season. As you can see in the video, the Green Wave are set to sport a new look that includes different shades of blue and green for their helmets and uniforms.

Got to love the baby blue look.
The Green Wave are coming off a very trying 2015 season in which they went 3-9 overall and 1-7 in the American Athletic Conference, where they finished in a tie for last place in the West Division with SMU.
As a result, the Green Wave fired coach Curtis Johnson after the season and hired Georgia Southern’s Fritz. Tulane has had only one winning season in the last 13 years
Tulane will open its 2016 season at Wake Forest on September 1.
