Florida State is the choice of RaiQuan Gray, a power forward who is either a 3-star or a 4-star recruit depending on the recruiting service you believe. Gray is making a verbal commitment Monday afternoon. And Jon Rothstein of CBSSports.com reports that Gray will pick Florida State out of his final six schools.
BREAKING: 2017 PF RaiQuan Gray is expected to commit to Florida State, sources told @CBSSports. Official announcement later today.

A 6-foot-8, 240-pound forward from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Gray will disappoint Baylor coach Scott Drew if Rothstein’s report is accurate. The Bears appeared to be the leading candidate and Gray appeared to be a great candidate to slide into the front court spot occupied by Rico Gathers the last two seasons.
Gray is listed as a four-star recruit by ESPN and a three star-recruit by 247sports, which has him listed as the No. 16 player in the state of Florida and the No. 118 player in the class of 2017.
Gray’s skill set will fit in well with the Seminoles and would fit in well with any team. He has size, quickness, a smooth shooting stroke plus has the ball-handling skills to be able to drive to the basket. He’s also good at running the floor.
The decision is expected to be announced at 2 p.m. EST. Check back for updates on this story.
