T2T: Tailgate to Trenches Episode 11 – Week 10

Jason Mowry/Icon Sportswire

It feels good to be back! We missed you while we were gone the past month, and boy what a month it has been! We’ve had Top 10 teams falling, favorites being eliminated and white hot teams fade into the cold abyss. Unfortunately, the American Hero is not in today, so we got another American Hero to fill in for him, Anthony Grow. Anthony and Stopsky take a look at the exciting results of Week 9, preview the top games of Week 10, talk about Tennessee running back Jalen Hurd’s decision to transfer, and more.

*Disclaimer* The week 10 preview segments were made before the first CFP Rankings were announced, so the rankings we mention are the AP’s rankings.

Segment 1

In this segment, Anthony and Stopsky take a look at these Week 9 games below.

No. 3 Clemson vs. No. 12 Florida State

No. 13 Boise State vs. Wyoming

No. 25 Virginia Tech vs. Pittsburgh

No. 18 Tennessee vs. South Carolina

How far can Clemson go if they make the College Football Playoff? Why is Anthony so happy Boise State lost to Wyoming? Where is Tennessee running back Jalen Hurd transferring too? Find out in the first segment of T2T.

Segment 2

In this segment, Anthony and Stopsky take a look at these Week 9 games below.

No. 5 Louisville vs. Virginia

No. 4 Washington vs. No. 17 Utah

No. 10 West Virginia vs. Oklahoma State

No. 8 Baylor vs. Texas

How good would Louisville be without Lamar Jackson? Which game last week did Stopsky enjoy the most? Does any Big 12 team have a chance of making the College Football Playoffs? What will happen to the Big 12 now that they have decided not to expand? This is a segment you’re not going to want to miss, especially if you’re a Big 12 fan.

Segment 3

In this segment, Anthony and Stopsky take a look at these Week 10 games below.

Navy vs. Notre Dame

No. 10 Nebraska vs. No. 6 Ohio State

Maryland vs. No. 3 Michigan

Is this Brian Kelly’s last year at Notre Dame? With a loss and a close game in back-to-back weeks, will Ohio State fall to Nebraska? Does Maryland even stand a chance against Michigan? Our Big Ten expert Anthony Grow breaks it all down for you in the third segment.

Segment 4

We finish with two big SEC matchups. First, No. 11 Florida takes on Arkansas in a inter-divisional game. Matt thinks Florida could be a surprise team in the last month of December; does Anthony agree with him?

Secondly, No. 1 Alabama vs. No. 13 LSU renew their rivalry. Coach O has done a phenomenal job taking over for Les Miles; can he cement himself as the next full-time head coach for LSU with a win over the unbeaten Tide? Can anyone stop Alabama in the SEC? Anthony and Stopsky discuss to finish the show.

Thank you for joining us today. The American Hero G will be back next week to join his favorite fluffy co-host, Stopsky.
