T2T Episode 4 – SBC Week 1 review and season forecast

Welcome back to T2T: Tailgate to Trenches with Stopsky and G. For this episode, we’ll be taking a look at the Sun Belt Conference. The SBC had a great Week 1! Everyone saw what Appalachian State as able to do against No. 9 Tennessee, but there were some other big games and upsets that prove that the SBC is not a conference to overlook.

Segment 1

Kevin Simmons and Stopsky look back at an exciting week 1. Obviously Appalachian State vs. Tennessee will start us off, but did you know that wasn’t the only SBC vs. SEC game on last week? There were also three big SBC vs. MAC games. 2015 SBC Champion Arkansas State took on the MAC West’s Toledo, Georgia State hosted Ball State at home, and Texas State went to Athens, Ohio to face one of the favorites to win the MAC East in the Ohio Bobcats. Kevin and Stopsky talk about each and give their predictions for each team for the rest of the 2016 season.
