The 14th ranked Florida State Seminoles have a tough test at home this week as they host the 5-1 Wake Forest Deamon Deacons. The conference matchup is also a test that will be even tougher for the Seminoles as an early injury to one of their top wide receivers will have them a man down for the majority of today’s game.

After injuring himself in the second quarter, Bobo Wilson has now been ruled out for the remainder of the contest. The apparent right foot injury removes the Seminoles’ most experienced wide receiver and one of their locker room leaders from the equation as Wilson’s absence could be a major turning point.

Following a handful of early drops, Wilson’s day ended prematurely as he was carted off of the field by the team’s trainers with an injury that appeared to be serious.

Florida State is currently reporting that Wilson suffered an injured right foot as they await further medical evaluation after the game. Wilson could potentially miss significant time if the injury is as severe as expected after he needed a cart to leave the field.

He has been extremely durable for the Seminoles throughout his career as he was the only wide receiver on the roster to start all 13 games last season. However, it does appear that Wilson is headed towards an injury stint that could be devastating for Florida State’s hopes of a miraculous comeback in the ACC as they look to chase down Clemson and Louisville in the Atlantic standings.
